Curro Castle Langebaan is an independent school in Langebaan, along the West Coast, that provides high-quality early childhood development in English and Afrikaans for children from 3 months to 5 years with a focus on the ELDAs. Our small class sizes based on age allow our dedicated teachers to engage each child in our internally developed play-based curriculum and to build strong, caring relationships with each child.

Afrikaans class (Area)
As one of the major spoken languages in the country, a working (or advanced) knowledge of Afrikaans will help learners to adapt seamlessly to the personal or professional society of their choice after matriculating. As a subject, Afrikaans focuses on listening and speaking (oral, dialogue, acting), reading and viewing (linguistics, literature), writing and presenting (diverse purposes, formats, context) and language (phonics, spelling, grammar) on various levels of difficulty and depth.
English class (Area)
English is the chosen language for international communication, especially in the business world. Spoken or understood worldwide, and as the standard language for web-based communication, English opens up opportunities across all sectors and countries. As a subject, English focuses on oral skills (listening, comprehension, reading, speaking), literature (novels, stories, poetry, film), writing (creative, practical) and language (summarising, editing, persuasive and visual communication).
Robotics class (Area)
In foundation phase, learners are introduced to Robotics by through Duplo Lego. This helps them to grasp the concept that seemingly abstract actions on a computer could have real-life results. Learners are guided through the journey of creating instructions (programming) that are carried out by a movable robot connected to the computer.
